I had the best red velvet cupcakes from Maddicakes Cupcakery!
They’re nothing like any other red velvet cupcakes I’ve tasted so far within my red velvet series and days after, they were still super yummy moist. And no one bribed me to say that.
When I got a call from Marcia with a request to sample four different versions of her latest red velvet creations, I was GAME! She knows about my little red velvet obsession and also wanted photos of her family and creations.
Marcia’s passion for baking, being a mom and doing it all stylishly moved me. Before the shoot, we had a long conversation about life, entrepreneurship, being a mother and following your dreams. She offered some great advice, and I left the conversation inspired to grow as a photographer. This mompreneur works hard and is always challenging herself. She doesn’t just bake; she really researches, understands the process, ingredients that go into every creation she makes.
Her business Maddicakes Cupcakery is named after her baby girl Madison and started out when she began bringing sampling her latest creations with her co-workers. After getting laid off, baking became a source of inspiration and something she indulged in “just for herself.” With every new creation, Marica pushed herself to be more innovative, and Maddicakes Cupcakery was born.
I so love that she took time to add my butterfly logo & “P” signature on the cupcakes. Totally unexpected and so sweet! Be sure to order some custom cupcakes from her for your next sweet occasion.

Yup, that’s an edible cake shoe!

From one baker to another, her work is stunning!
And delicious!!! I will definitely let Marcia know you sent her some love
