My excitement continues from Part 1 of this styled bridal shoot with Mike Colon, which was also featured on Style Me Pretty.
It was an overcast day in Central Park, perfect for getting some great photographs but VERY cold. As always, I get concerned for anyone I’m shooting when it’s cold, but the bride and groom models Johan Khalilian and Gabi were amazing. Gabi has gorgeous green eyes, the kind that twinkle in the light. I discovered during a break that Johan is half Puerto Rican, half Persian and speaks, “Spanish, but not Farsia,” which he explained is the Persian language, NOT what I was thinking “Persian.” Additionally, Johan is a global inspiring speaker and an up and coming actor. He was the perfect gentleman and looked out for Gabi and kept her laughing and comfortable throughout the shoot.
This shoot was incredible, not only because of the amazing team of people (below) who pulled it together (special thanks to Jackie Weppner of Merci New York), but also because of the friendships I made.
