I was here… I lived. I loved. I did. I’ve done.
My 2011 P’Day birthday song is “I Was Here” by Beyonce.
Last year, I decided to do something very different for my birthday: a photo shoot that made me look and feel Tyra Banks – Salma Hayek – Heidi Klum glamorous. I borrowed a runway Herve Leger (!!!) dress, worked with a fabulous photographer, makeup artist and hair stylist, got my nails done etc.
I wanted to commemorate the butterfly transformation that was taking place in my heart. September 2010 was the beginning of taking baby steps towards making changes in my life. This September 2011 marks the beginning of me taking bigger risks (thanks to the Making Things Happen intensive I attended) and taking steps to really live, love, serve, risk… so at the end, I can say:
I was here
I lived, I loved
I was here.
I did, I’ve done… everything that I wanted
And it was more than I thought it would be.
I hardly recognized myself when I first saw these photos. It’s such a different look but a very empowering experience. Every woman deserves this experience. So I invite you or the woman in your life to have a by Petronella Photography beautiful experience. Stay tuned for more details.

Happy Born Day Beautiful…
Wow, this brings back memories..
I must say, this was one of my most memorable photoshoots..
I’ve never met someone that was do determined….. I think back and remember saying to myself, “why didnt I do something special FOR ME on my birthday”. I admired that in you.. You took “loving thy self” to the next level. Something many of us are not capable of doing. You are an inspiration to many…
I remember bringing your photos to post production.. I couldnt help but stress – – “I hope she likes them”, “I hope she’s not disappointed”. You put so much into making this day, that I was going through the emotions. (Strange, isn’t it?)LOL
MY GOD…. YOU LOOK SO HAPPY and YOU LOOK AMAZING….
Petronella,
Continue to push!
Continue to LOVE!
Continue to be who you are!
Spread your wings and fly!
Love,
Stace~
