This love story is so much better than the movies…
and I can’t wait to share all the details. Soon after landing back in town from Vegas, I got ready to shoot this beautiful surprise marriage proposal that Jameel had so carefully planned in the past month. It was a cold, rainy day, but Jameel was cool, collected and energized to declare his love for Zeeya at the Top of the Rock, where they shared their first kiss. I love details, and Jameel really thought through the details of how he was going to propose.
Love this shot of Zeeya and Jameel crossing the street on their way from the Waldorf-Astoria to Rockefeller Center. Zeeya had no idea that in less than an hour, she would be engaged to Jameel.
I love Zeeya’s expression as Jameel explains to her that her Tacori engagement ring also had 32 diamonds, representing the age when she got engaged. Unbelievably thoughtful! Somehow I managed to pull myself together so I could take this photo. It was a beautiful sight to see Zeeya’s reaction.
