It was a super cold day, 36 degrees with blustering winds; thankfully I was gifted this HOT pink super warm but lightweight North Face jacket 3 days earlier on Christmas. I also bought special gloves so that I could easily shoot and press all the right buttons, but once I got into “the zone,” I forgot it was cold and didn’t use them at all.
The color images are the behind the scenes images taken by my awesome assistant Alan and the black and white images are the final photos.
Super props to Jammy who quickly adjusted after Zach’s beautiful surprise marriage proposal and rocked their NYC post proposal engagement session!

You know how you imagine yourself versus what you really look… I cringe a bit when I see myself shooting… but then I realize, it’s just me doing my thing, my way.

Wonderful photos! Jammy and Zach are two friends of mine, and when I heard Zach surprised her this Christmas with a NYC trip, I had a feeling a proposal would happen. The images are great and really capture Jammy’s joy!
