One of my favorite dances at Ghanaian weddings is the music group Fuse ODG’s featuring Tiffany’s song: Azonto.
Think of it as the Carly Rae Jepsen “Call Me Maybe” of Ghanaian weddings; when Azonto comes on, everyone gets on the dance floor and does the Azonto. It’s takes a little bit of coordination, but once you’ve got it, it’s fun.
Heads, shoulder, feet. Let me see you Azonto!
Sometimes I like to have a fun with the groomsmen by getting down to the Azonto. Next time, I’ll post some behind the scenes photos of me doing the Azonto, once I master it a bit better.
