Lately I’ve been working hard to hone my photojournalism, documentary style photography.

Since I was little, photography has always been my way of communicating with the world.

Which is why I so loved this last minute New York Flower District photo session.

I once stole my dad’s film camera and brought it to gym class to photograph my sweaty classmates just because I wanted to capture the connections, energy I felt and saw among my classmates.

So this year 2014 I’m been working hard to get back to that place where I photograph what I feel and see versus making a shot happen. I’m so proud of this morning’s floral shoot and a personal project, which happened because I met up with a mother, wife, floral designer Tracey Reynolds and less than 24hrs later, we agreed to make this shoot

Here’s a sneak peak of the floral heaven photo session that took place in New York’s Flower District!

It’s winter and it’s snowing like crazy here in the New York, New Jersey area, but I so wish I could be surrounded by a bouquet of these pink lovelies!
