A gomesi also called a busuuti (boo-sue-tee) is the traditional #Ugandan attire for women & is floor-length, brightly colored with a square neckline & short, puffed sleeves.
Underneath the gomesi are layers of wraps and clothing designed to make a woman’s lower body & behind look fuller, a symbol of beauty.
