Selina shared the following inspiration about the shoot:
This shoot was inspired by the braveness and sexiness of true love in conjunction with what happens after the wedding, when the party is over. After spending your entire wedding day with family and friends and having them share in your special time, you retreat home to begin the rest of your life together. Alone. Everything about her exudes sexiness and confidence as she comes down the aisle. Her polka dot gown, black lace accents, and her perfect red pout is tantalizing to her groom. All he could think about was getting her alone after the wedding. As she came down the aisle to her forever, and looked him in his eyes, she knew what he was thinking. She was in for a treat that night. This undeniable attraction is apparent to their guests all day. The way he looks at her, the way she touches him, and how they dance as if no one is watching. Once they finally make it home after a beautiful day, no time is wasted. He undresses her and emotions built up during this special day are now released. The shoot displays the unspoken passion and romance between two souls that have become one. True love unvoiced, brave, and sexy.
The styling and feel of the shoot is haute couture but sweet and spicy. This couple is luxurious with a craving for culture and style. The bride wore a Sarah Jassir black and white polka dot ball gown that is reminiscent of the classic lines and silhouettes of the 1950’s. This gown gave the bride a subtle sexiness. The silhouette of the gown is traditional, however the play with polka dots gave it a modern edginess and sophistication. The looks were accented with black lace and netting to add a Spanish touch.
