This post is soooo long overdue, especially since my birthday was Sept 15. So my birthday was spectacular, all month long spectacular! So amazing, I’ll have to share all the yummy details in an extended post soon.
I’ll start off with one of many AMAZING birthday gifts my sister gave me. My family surprised me with a giant pink, green, yellow cake with a custom “Pet” handbag and shoes on it. I died… it was so cute. As my sister’s husband brought out my surprise birthday cake, my sister pressed play on her iPAD and said, “I dedicate this song to you because you’re amazing.” Then I heard Bruno Mars singing….”ahhhhh ” followed by the song: “Just the Way You Are.” The song was officially released days before my birthdate, so it really feels like it was made for me 😉
Yes I cried, was overwhelmed, smiled & had the sudden urge to hug everyone. So beautiful. Then she gave me this necklace because she said, “you’re AMAZING, just the way you are”, and I put it on immediately and even wore it to the beach, just to make sure everyone knew what an amazing sister & family I have.
So this is me rocking my necklace, fresh from a dip in Miami’s South beach. Whenever I have a bad day and life gets challenging, I’ll wear my necklace and remember that someone thinks I’m amazing.
