“Yes! I’m only wearing this dress once, and I need to maximize it.”
This was Sonia’s response when I asked her if I could photograph her lying in the grass. Her answer reflected her attitude throughout the entire wedding. She was calm, always laughing and looked stunning all day and night… as was her handsome groom Josh.
Oh and her dress, oh her dress. I gasped when I saw it: so soft, fluffy, ethereal, definitely fit for an African queen.
It was a joy and a pleasure to photograph Sonia and Josh’s Congolese – American wedding in Birmingham, AL. Sonia and Josh were truly blessed to have Jackie Rowell as their wedding planner, Chi of Chi Makeup Artistry and florals by Artistic Concepts.
