The day after Valentine’s, Pramit surprised Saaski with a serenade and beautiful marriage proposal in New York Central Park complete with an acapella song!

We knew who Pramit was because he told us he would be wearing a green cap.
To try to throw off Saaski, Pramit asked the Blue Jupiter acapella group to take a “tourist” photo of them. Here’s that photo of both of them looking at the cellphone photo.
Then Blue Jupiter broke out into song singing Jason Mraz’s “I’m Yours.” They really know how to sing because I was dancing and snapping away the entire time.
Right after the song, Pramit got down on one knee…. I love Saaski’s expression. She saw it coming after they sung the song, but it’s not the same when it really happens.
I love that Pramit proposed to her in the exact spot when he realized she was the one!!!! Love that detail!

We met through a mutual friend at a party and finally started communicating through email until she met me for a glass of wine for our first date. We talked for two hours and only had 1 glass of wine and I felt bad so the next date we had to do dinner.
