Every sandal has a story.
Being from Uganda and knowing that Sseko Designs shoes help empower Ugandan women to pursue their dreams means so much to me. I love that each sandal has a story, and I’m honored to be a featured as part of Sseko’s 30 Days #Sseko30x30 promotion.
I discovered Sseko Designs through my Making Things Happen friend Abigail Luby of Chips and Salsa Designs (she’s a fabulous stationer). After reading Sseko’s mission of empowering Ugandan women using fashion and style, I became a fan, especially since I was born in Uganda and have a similar personal and company mission. Of course, it totally helps that I love shoes and these sandals have become a staple for a walk around the park or when I’m shooing portrait sessions. They also make fabulous bridal shoes!
