I recently traveled to Pennslyvania for a winter photo shoot, which was exciting because I love traveling on Amtrak … and even better when there are a few people on the train so I can comfortably stretch out.
My mind is always so busy thinking that being confined to a space that is not too big that I get distracted but not too small that I can’t stretch, edit photos on my laptop or do some basic photo editing on my iPad using the Photogene app, sleep, eat a meal, or recline, is relaxing. It feels like a mini-vaction because there are no familiar distractions around me (eg: TV, files, kitchen, refrigerator, books etc), so my mind can really FOCUS and relax.
