So one of my fun 2011 goals is to try a new red velvet cake treat once a week.
Two weekends ago, I was in Los Angeles visiting my sister and we attended a gourmet food truck event. YUMMY!
I already established how much I love red velvet cupcakes, so when we saw Sweet E’s and my sister raved about their cake pops, I was intrigued. Would it have the same moist, succulent, distinct flavor of a red velvet cake?
YES! The red velvet cake pop was super moist and had been dipped in white chocolate, which made it yummy but a tad too sweet. I did love the idea that it came as a lollipop, a surefire way to portion control my red velvet cravings.
Up next, red velvet cheesecake. Got any red velvet recos?
