He fell in love with “the one.”
And on Sept 15, Shan married the “the one.”

They’ve been together for a long time, and it was an emotional ceremony to see them come together just like in the final episode of The Jamie Foxx Show when Jamie sings his wedding vows to Fancy. It was so fitting that Jyl and Shan’s ceremony song was Jamie Foxx’s wedding song.
Once again, there were tears at this wedding ceremony even from little man below.
So the old adage that girls marry someone like their father was evident on this wedding day; both the key men in Jyl’s life make her laugh.
During the wedding ceremony, after the pastor said you may now kiss the bride, Shan dusted off his collar and pulled out a mint from his pocket before proceeding to kiss his new wife. Everyone laughed. Similarly, when the DJ started playing Luther Vandross’ slow tempo ballad “Last Dance with My Father,” Jyl’s dad started doing the jitterbug as he walked out onto the Waterford at Fair Oaks dance floor to meet Jyl. Everyone laughed. There was an undeniable connection between both of them during their father-daughter dance.
